Join a group class to work on improved fitness and wellbeing, supported and guided by Sylvia with the encouragement of others in the group. Group sessions are fun with an emphasis on enjoying movement and making time to invest in your health and wellbeing.

Postnatal Pilates

These group postnatal sessions allow you to return to practice your Pilates as part of a supportive group, tailored towards supporting your body post partum. We will use the low impact movements of Pilates to gently strengthen the abdominals and in reconnecting to the pelvic floor as it heals aiding postnatal recovery. All whilst spending time with other new mothers, and your baby . Modifications and progressions given, if you have an injury or health consideration please contact me in advance of joining so we can discuss how you can be supported in the space.

Mixed ability Mat Pilates

Tuesdays 6pm-7pm

Fridays Term Time

Starting Friday 9th January

Standing Strength and Balance - 11am-12pm for 12 weeks.

Join this fun welcoming group, to improve standing strength, balance, and flexibility. A combination of standing Pilates and calisthenics with Pilates on the mat.

50+ Pilates -12.15pm-1.15pm for 12 weeks.

This class is for those 50+ with exercises predominantly on the mat. Exercises are non-impact with a focus on body alignment and core stability. We work at a gentle pace, with our focus on mindful body awareness, and good pilates technique, with movement lead from the centre/core. We aim to build strength, and gain further mobilisation within the joints with flowing controlled movements. Progressions offered for those who wish to go further as you improve.

This is not a remedial Pilates class so if you are unsure if Pilates is suitable for you please consult with your GP before enrolling.

We will focus on maintaining your fitness levels during this period, keeping the abdominal wall strong whilst mobilizing and easing out the joints and muscles.
